Nicky, who was very thankful for pie today.

Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.

Today was the celebration of Thanksgiving, our national holiday in the States. It is a time for families to come together, share a feast, and remember all that we are thankful for.

The word “abundance” keeps coming to mind. God has blessed Gary and I so much. We are healthy, and for that we are extremely thankful. We have each other and we have a very loving family. We have good food to eat and clean water to drink, a roof over our heads and a warm bed to sleep in. We are so blessed.

We have a faith that has carried us over the mountain on so many occasions. It has carried us over the mountain, into the valley, along the river and to the beautiful ocean. The mountain of problems and challenges, the valley of self-doubt and fear, the river of grief and sadness, and the ocean of washing away everything and renewing our spirits. Time and time again we have driven this road and always we have been renewed and filled with happiness and satisfaction. Always.

Tonight on this special holiday of Thanksgiving I am lifting my heart up to the universe to blend with other hearts in a song of thankfulness for this abundant life we have been given. Maybe we can meet there and share our stories and a hug.

Wishing you grace, strength, courage, and confidence,
