Major announcement: starting today, I will be posting to this blog on Mondays and Thursdays only, so your mailboxes won’t be stuffed with announcements of my posts that you may not be able to get to, causing you to feel guilty for neglecting me. No worries, we are all busy, and I want to respect your time. Thanks for understanding!
Choose love. Choose to release all resentments.
Forgive everyone. Choose to release all regrets.
Forgive yourself for all decisions that you have ever made that didn’t work out as you hoped.
Forgive yourself for any financial decisions that didn’t meet your expectations.
Release your regrets if you choose the “wrong” spouse or the “wrong” career.
Today, choose love.
Choose to love yourself.
Choose to love your life.
Choose to love all the friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances, and others who share your life.

Today I am thankful for Internet cafes and coffee shops; the gluten-free peanut butter cookie I just ate; and the 3-Day Detox I’m starting tomorrow!
I tried a new coffee shop this morning that was recommended to me. Cozy, large over-stuffed chairs, gas fireplace, sunshine streaming through the windows. It’s nearly the perfect place, and it has WIFI. I’m holding on until mine gets hooked up in a couple of days. As I was ordering my drink I saw this thank you note to the coffee shop that just cracked me up!

Apparently teachers get their super powers from coffee. If they don’t have their coffee they can’t teach. Well, Popeye had spinach, Superman had Kryptonite, so it does make sense that coffee is the secret ingredient. And it’s not just teachers that gain their improved memory and attention to details from the hot brew.
Back in February of 2012 the Small Business Development Center Network (SBDCNet) reported on the findings of the latest National Coffee Drinking Study from the National Coffee Association. You can read the entire article here. One thing it said was there were 183 million coffee drinkers in the United States (I believe in 2011). Of that number the survey went on to find that 54% said they began drinking coffee between 13 and 19 years old. What do you think about that?
I know the jury is still out on whether coffee is a miracle stimulant or whether it is an evil habit, and I will get into this more in a later post. I just wanted to get your feedback on coffee.
How does coffee make you feel after one cup? How about after three cups?
How many shots of espresso do you have in a day?
How many sodas do you drink in a day?
Do you ever drink energy drinks?
If you do have energy drinks, how long do you have energy after drinking one?
Does coffee keep you awake at night?
Do you think decaf is any better (healthier) than regular coffee, or is it actually worse?
Tea or coffee?
I’m just curious. See you on Thursday. I’m off to do a 3-day detox now.
